Federal Communications Commission Rural Tour Meeting

Federal Communication Commission officials will be in Deming on Thursday, January 30th, beginning at 9 a.m. in the Andres Silva Conference Center, 119 E. Pine in Deming for a consumer education forum, hosted by the city of Deming and the Deming-Luna County Chamber of Commerce. Issues to be addressed include unwanted robocalls and scam calls, confusing phone bills, television broadcast transition issues affecting programming, and other timely telecommunications and broadcasting issues. The forum is free and open to the public.
